Waterfowl Hunting

World class waterfowl hunting, duck hunting, goose hunting, & crane hunting in Texas

We offer waterfowl hunting for duck, goose, teal, and crane hunting in two different locations on the Texas Coast. We have a 98 percent repeat business on our waterfowl hunts. As a client all the work is done for you and you just relax and enjoy the experience of whistling wings over the decoys, great retrievers, and majestic morning sunrise in a duck blind.

The first location is 20,000 acres of freshwater marshes, rice fields, and prairies in the Anahuac and Winnie, Texas areas (45 minutes East of Houston). All of our ranches are privately managed to produce the best waterfowl habitat on the Texas Gulf Coast. We specialize in providing one of a kind combination duck and goose hunts and Texas Sandhill Crane hunting. We also offer some of the best late season goose hunting over rye grass fields. We are surrounded by the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, which holds one of the largest populations of wintering waterfowl on the Texas coast. Chambers County has a rich history of waterfowl hunting in the Anahuac, Texas, Winnie, Texas, and Smith Point, Texas areas. We hunt some of the most historical duck hunting ranches on the Texas Gulf Coast in Chambers County.

The second location is the rice fields and agriculture fields around the areas of El Campo and Wharton, Texas. We offer world class wing-shooting in the mornings only. The mid-coast area of El Campo and Wharton, Texas is the wintering grounds of one of the largest concentrations of waterfowl in the country. It is common to see the sky turn black with the number of ducks that rise off of the rice fields and roost in the mornings. Huge concentrations of pintails, redheads, blue-bills, widgeon, teal, and gadwall make the mid-coast their wintering grounds. Goose hunting in the El Campo and Wharton area is outstanding in the numerous agriculture fields and freshwater roost. The duck hunting and goose hunting is usually better in November to early December and late January in this area. This area is great for Texas Sandhill Crane hunting.

With forty different blinds to hunt, ponds and fields will not get burned out or over crowded. Having numerous blinds in different areas, allows us to move with the birds throughout the year. Complete hunts include experienced guides, comfortable blinds, large decoy spreads, transportation, and trained retrievers. When you have 35,000 acres to hunt you do not have to worry about over crowding and burning out fields or ponds everyday!
